Just because one believes in self love and body positivity, does not mean one must love those who practice cultural appropriation.

Just because one believes in sex-positivity, does not mean one must love those who practice non-consentual sexual habits.

Just because one believes in the vast possibilities in queerness, in bashing back, is screaming die cis scum, in attempting to fuck the system, does not mean they are oppressing those who are cis gender.

Just because one believes in fighting misogyny and trans*misogyny does not mean they are obliged to put on a fedora and protect cismen from the mythical beast that is misandry.

Just because one believes in recognizing white privilege and racism in politics/media/culture/education/social systems/religions/acts of cultural appropriation/the list goes on and on, does not mean that one should worry about white tears and the suffering of whiteness that fetishizes and eats up other cultures in order to “look pretty”. Reverse racism is yet another mythic beast.

Just because one believes in fighting classism does not mean that if you are white and poor you suddenly don’t have white privilege.

Just because one believes in fighting body shaming does not mean one has to sit back and let cultural appropriation occur. Body love is not appropriation love. 

Just because one believes in fighting victim shaming, does not mean one must in turn love the abuser - fuck that shit.

Radical self love does not, and never has, meant loving people who through their acts, words, and/or bodies, consciously or ignorantly oppress another group.
